When you're shopping for furniture, pull out a drawer and see how it's made. What you find hidden within part of the furniture you don't normally see will tell you a lot about the company and its design philospohy. Here's what goes into one of ours.
We only use 5 piece English dovetailed solid wood drawer boxes- the strongest, most durable drawer construction available. Pull out a drawer and look at the competition. Often you will find stapled, fiberboard drawer boxes.
Our drawer boxes are fully finished solid wood, with clean, smooth surfaces. Drawer fronts are easily replaceable in case of damage.
Flip one of our drawers over. You'll see wood center supports (to prevent the drawer bottom from sagging when loaded), and reinforcing corner blocks in every corner.
All of our chests use high-quality precision ball bearing drawer glides. These are seldom found even
on adult furniture. Our quiet, smooth, and strong drawer glides are something you will appreciate
every time you open a drawer.
